ABSTRACT
The intention of this work was to develop a model of integration of technology GPRS in networks GSM. Companies were visited that operate under technology GSM. Companies were visited that operate under technology GSM. The same, offer services of short messages, with data transmission of high security, providing in general terms a good service. Nevertheless, these companies wish to offer services median multimedia speed to their users, between who it is important to emphasize the inclusion in the interactive market of Internet and the capacity to support as much packages of voice as of data, approaching thus the calls services of third generation (3G). The two GPRS at present belong to point five generation (2.5G), this cradle in the transmission of information through the commutation of packages. In order to reach with the raised objective, the analysis of the opinions of the experts was realised in the design area and integration of networks GSM, where it was considered and each of the characteristics of networks GSM and the integration of architecture GPRS of such form studied of meticulous way that guaranteed the incorporation of the GPRS without the interruption of the movable and fixed service of the companies. Taking the following considerations: present network GSM of the companies studied, soon determined the Requirements of the company (Parameters of Design), study of technological alternatives, taking into account the recommendations from the companies (Nokia, Ericcson, Siemens, Motorola and Huawei). Also, the process of integration with the selected technology. In this sense, it was obtained like result, that this developed model is a reliable model, which will bring with himself many benefits to the company of technology GSM, having done them more competitive in the market, extending his services and benefits.
